Shetland beach inspired brooches.

Living on the Shetland islands I spend a lot of time exploring the coast line, and love to beach comb.

I have made brooches from the tiny shells, seaweed and other treasures I find. Each brooch is slightly different and original. I have used mica powders to colour the background which shimmer in the light.
