Happy Whales | Circle 40 cm
Happy Whales | Circle 40 cm
Resin Art Seascape inspired from the many beaches and sea views that surround the Scottish Isles. We are spoilt in Shetland being surrounded by a beautiful coastline, always near the sea. I am fascinated by the ever changing seas from dangerous massive waves to complete still calm water.
This is a stunning piece of art that captures the power and beauty of the ocean. The resin creates a realistic wave effect, giving the painting a sense of movement and energy.
I love to use liquid resin to represent the sea in my artwork. This piece is 4-5 layers of coloured resin and alcohol ink, with a super glossy finish.
This piece is part of my new big fish collection, we are spoilt with the constant presence of Orcas annd whales around our islands. This one measures 40 cm across, signed and ready to hang.
How It's Made
How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.
