Beach mosaic - hand crafted in The Shetland islands.
As a keen beach comber and sea swimmer I love to collect treasures to use in my artwork. I have made a series of heart mosaics from beach finds and add extra special touches of jewellery pieces for originality of design and to recycle. Each one is truly original and has been made in my Shetland studio. A perfect Valentines or house warming gift.
This piece is in a black frame, measuring in a 8 x 8 x 1 inch, signed and ready to hang or stand.
How It's Made
How It's Made
Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm.
Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork.

Clean using a damp cloth, buff with a dry one.
Polish if necessary using Original T-Cut car polish.
