With a love for beach combing around The Shetland Islands, I can't resist picking up pieces of glass washed up onto the beaches.

I have created larger single feature buttons form some of the glass measuring approx 3-3.5 cm cm approx. Each button comes attached to a card, in an organza gift pouch.

Choose your referred colour, bearing in mind each piece is a unique shape and colour. If you would prefer to see exact pieces in a certain colour I can send additional photos.

How It's Made

Each piece of artwork within the Sea Glass collection is made from glass collected by Sarah from a beach in Shetland. Varying in colours and shapes, sea glass can be found in abundance here in Shetland, having been washed up on the shoreline after a storm. 

Sarah hand picks each piece of sea glass then cleans and sorts them into sizes and colours before incorporating them into her artwork. 

 

Care Instructions

If necessary the glass can be cleaned in warm soapy water and colour can be enhanced by polishing with a drop of coconut or Olive oil.
